Your 12 Hour Free Agency Update


It’s been just over half a day since NBA Free Agency opened, and plenty of interesting rumors have come down in that time. In addition to that, a max contract has been signed, meetings have been had, and people still care more about the World Cup (what the…?).

Well the World Cup “fans” include yours truly, so before I go sing the Star Spangled Banner to myself in the mirror with a Budweiser and a bacon cheeseburger in one hand (harder than it sounds), and a bald eagle perched on my other, here’s some things to know before you yourself go “full futbol” for the next two hours. NBA Playoffs: First Round Predictions

The playoffs have snuck up on us, and the Saturday quadruple-header is less than 48 hours away. With Wednesday night’s shuffling of seeding in the West, the schedule is finally set, and David Stern is laughing from his perch above the rest of the league. Somehow, the NBA has managed to get every single first round matchup that it wanted in the Western Conference.
